A Little Bit of Anxiety
One of the most common things we hear is women experience anxiety about coming along and trying Lissome out for the first time.
Yes we get it.
Walking into a gym, a room full of people you don’t really know.
“Will anyone talk to me?”
“I won’t be fit enough!”
“It looks SO HARD!”
“What if I can’t DO one of the movements?”
We’ve heard it ALLLLLLL before. You are not the first person to be plagued with these fearful thoughts that almost sabotage you from ever coming. We are inboxed regularly with messages from girls in the community who say they love what we do, what we are all about and yet they are still too terrified to come!
As frustrating as this is for us, we do understand. We have put so many things into place to try and make this experience as welcoming, enjoyable and achievable for you all.
You can rest assured we talk to our Coaching Staff and Members regularly about this and together have processes in place where we actively make sure you feel good as soon as you arrive!
The thing is, we can’t physically go and get you from your house and bring you to the gym! Haha. Although we HAVE considered that option! (A Lissome bus maybe?!)
All you have to do is get yourself here!
Don’t overthink it.
Don’t sabotage yourself out if it.
Don’t create obstacles and put them in your path to stop you.
Just follow your curiosity and get here! We promise you that we will take care of the rest. Oh, and that it WILL be worth the little bit of anxiety!
